Sundays: What to Expect

You are here: Home / Sundays: What to Expect

If you’re visiting us for the first time, here are some answers to questions we often receive…

How should I dress?

Dress however you like! The Bible doesn’t say anything about dressing up for church, so you will find people dressed every which way at Union.

What is the worship service like?

It is a mix of contemporary and classic traditions, so we have everything from pipe organ to electric guitars. The message is relevant and Bible-based, whether you consider yourself a follower of Jesus or just interested in learning more.

Do I have to be a Christian to attend?

Nope! All are welcome to join us, whether you are a follower of Jesus or not.

What do you have for kids?

Lots! While children of all ages are welcome in the sanctuary, we have a full nursery for babies and a full Sunday school called “Union KiDS” for toddlers-11 year-olds! We also have a Mothers Room with a live stream video of the service for moms with restless babies.

When you arrive, our Connect Team at the Welcome Tent will show you where all the classes are!

Do you have anything for youth (high school)?

That’s the next step! While we have a middle school class opening soon, we are currently praying for youth leaders who would come along and create an awesome program for high schoolers.

Do you have anything in Spanish?

Yes! We have simultaneous translation into Spanish during the worship service. We also have small groups in Spanish during the week.
